DryBuild Group is looking for an experienced steel framing subcontractor for ongoing residential and commercial projects across Calgary. Must have your own tools, vehicle, and solid experience in steel stud framing. This is a project-based opportunity for reliable subcontractors who deliver clean, accurate, and professional work.
Job Description
DryBuild Group is hiring a Steel Framing Subcontractor to join our team on a project-by-project basis.
We work on residential and commercial interior projects across Calgary, including basements, home renovations, tenant improvements, and other interior framing jobs.
This position is ideal for an experienced subcontractor who is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of completing steel framing work to a high standard. Projects may include interior partition walls, bulkheads, soffits, ceiling framing, backing, basement framing, and other related steel stud framing tasks depending on the scope of work.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, follow drawings and site instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain quality workmanship on site.

Responsibilities
Complete steel framing work according to project scope and site requirements.
Lay out and build steel stud walls, bulkheads, soffits, ceiling framing, and related components.
Read drawings and follow measurements accurately.
Ensure framing is straight, secure, and ready for drywall installation.
Install backing and support framing where required.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Follow safety guidelines and job site instructions carefully.
Communicate clearly regarding progress, scheduling, and material needs.
Deliver clean, professional workmanship on every project.
