Job Description
DryBuild Group is hiring an HVAC Subcontractor to join our team on a project-by-project basis.
We work on basements, residential homes, renovations, and small commercial construction projects across Calgary.
This position is ideal for an experienced HVAC contractor who can complete heating, ventilation, and air conditioning work safely, professionally, and according to project requirements. Projects may include basement ventilation, duct modifications, return air coordination, bathroom fans, exhaust systems, furnace-related coordination, and other HVAC-related work depending on the scope.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, follow drawings and site instructions, coordinate with other trades, meet deadlines, and prepare work for inspections when required.
In Calgary, HVAC installations in new buildings and renovations require mechanical permits. Work involving natural gas must be done by a certified, licensed mechanical contractor.

Responsibilities
Complete HVAC work according to project scope and site requirements.
Read drawings and follow layout measurements accurately.
Install or modify ducts, vents, returns, exhaust lines, fans, and related HVAC components as needed.
Coordinate with framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and finishing trades.
Prepare work for inspections when required.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Communicate clearly regarding progress, scheduling, materials, and inspection needs.
Deliver clean, professional workmanship on every project.
