DryBuild Group is looking for an experienced electrician subcontractor for residential, basement, renovation, and small commercial projects across Calgary. Must be licensed, insured, able to work independently, and familiar with Calgary electrical permit and inspection requirements.
Job Description
DryBuild Group is hiring an Electrician Subcontractor to join our team on a project-by-project basis.
We work on basements, renovations, residential homes, and small commercial construction projects across Calgary.
This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who can complete electrical work safely, professionally, and according to code. Projects may include basement wiring, lighting, plugs, switches, panel-related work, rough-ins, finishing, troubleshooting, and other electrical tasks depending on the scope.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, follow drawings and site instructions, coordinate with other trades, meet deadlines, and prepare work for inspection when required.
Electrical trade permits may be required when electrical work is being completed. Calgary provides trade permit information for contractors applying for electrical, plumbing, gas, or HVAC permits.

Responsibilities
Complete electrical work according to project scope and site requirements.
Read drawings and follow layout measurements accurately.
Install wiring, boxes, fixtures, switches, plugs, and other electrical components as needed.
Coordinate with framing, drywall, plumbing, HVAC, and finishing trades.
Follow all safety guidelines and site instructions.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Communicate clearly regarding progress, scheduling, materials, and inspections.
Deliver clean, professional workmanship on every project.
